Hi, I’m Mac.

I’m a Creative Director & Comedy Writer who spent nearly a decade in studio comedy writing before recently bringing that expertise into the ad space. I specialize in creating high-quality, humorous content that drives brand recognition, captures attention, and delivers big ideas. Whether it’s viral campaigns, TV commercials, branded digital series, or billboards, I focus on crafting breakthrough work that resonates with audiences.

My career began on major film sets at 15, and by 25, I was working as Melissa McCarthy's comedy punch-up writer on all of her studio comedies, a collaboration that continues today. I recently wrote on her top-ranked, scripted audio series, Hildy the Barback and the Lake of Fire, which stars Melissa McCarthy, Octavia Spencer, Glenn Close, Allison Janney, and more. I’ve worked in the development of projects with comedians like Jimmy O. Yang, and I wrote and produced Paris Hilton’s Netflix cooking show, Cooking with Paris. Additionally, I produced David Dobrik’s YouTube talk show, Views, where I developed comedy segments, ad reads, and branded content for partners like Chipotle, Hello Fresh, and Dollar Shave Club.

Recently, I’ve pivoted to the ad world, using my comedy writing background to create innovative, authentic content for brands. I specialize in crafting digital comedy series around brands that star top social media influencers. With a roster of creators who have a combined reach of over 15 million followers, I produce campaigns that blend humor with strong brand narratives, ensuring that content resonates with today’s digital audiences.

I’m based in Los Angeles and New Orleans, and when I’m not working, I’m a husband, father, and proud wiener dog owner.
